Biography

Liu Yusheng, Chief Physician, works in the Department of Medical Cosmetology at Dongguan People's Hospital. He has been engaged in plastic and aesthetic surgery for nearly 30 years and is proficient in routine and new techniques of plastic and aesthetic surgery. He is particularly skilled in the repair and reconstruction of body surface organ and tissue defects, and has accumulated rich experience in the plastic treatment of various congenital malformations and in the repair and reconstruction of acquired defects and deformities. He has conducted relatively in-depth research especially on various scars and plastic surgery of the eyes, nose, ears, and breasts, and has successively carried out techniques such as various flap transplantations for body surface tissue repair. His research results won the Second Prize of the Dongguan Science and Technology Progress Award. He designed and invented a continuous constant-pressure rapid skin expander, which obtained a national patent and won the Third Prize of the Dongguan Science and Technology Progress Award. He has carried out research and application of plastic surgery for extensive burn scars and acellular dermal matrix, and has won one first prize and one second prize of the Municipal Science and Technology Achievement Award. He has published 30 academic papers, including one SCI paper and one paper in a Chinese core journal. He has participated in the compilation of three academic monographs, obtained one national patent, and won four science and technology achievement awards.

He serves as a Standing Committee Member of the Medical Aesthetics Branch of the Guangdong Medical Association, a Committee Member of the Plastic Surgery Branch, a Standing Committee Member of the Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery Branch of the Guangdong Medical Doctor Association, a Standing Committee Member of the Guangdong Plastic and Aesthetic Association, and Chairman of the Dongguan Plastic and Aesthetic Society.
